ALL STATES AND INDIVIDUALS IN NIGERIA CAN BECOME OIL PRODUCING AND TACKLE ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES LIKE EROSION AND DEFORESTATION USING JATROPHA CURCAS

DISC Energy in collaboration with its foreign technical partners on Jatropha Curcas MJ International India, CMJI Malaysia and Olgreen Energy is organizing a two in one seminar on Jatropha Curcas to Biodiesel and Jatropha Curcas as a means to ending Nigeria’s environmental challenges.

The Seminar is Scheduled for June 9th 2012 in Makurdi, Benue State Nigeria 

The seminar is designed to sensitize participants on the need to embrace and invest in renewable energy source such as Jatropha Curcas, two, to project Jatropha Curcas/Biodiesel production potency as a catalyst for Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and job creation for the teeming unemployed, three, to bring participants one on one with the world number one Jatropha/biodiesel producers and marketers and four, to make hybrid Jatropha seedling/saplings available to intending Jatropha farmers.

This seminar will also afford intending Jatropha farmers the opportunity to sign MoU between them and world leading Jatropha buyers whenever their farm is setup. 

On ground to further enrich the seminar are representatives from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, Federal Ministry of Environment, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation NNPC, Nigeria Export Promotion Council NEPC, Food and Agricultural Organization FOA and Halliburton Energy Services (Nig) Ltd.

Expected to attend are five delegates from Ministry of Agriculture, five delegates from Ministry of Environment and five delegates from Ministry of Commerce and Industry from the following states  Adamawa, Borno, Benue, Bauchi, Gombe, Jigawa, Kwara, Kogi, Katsina, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba,  Yobe and Zamfara. Also in attendance will be Entrepreneurs, Businessmen/Investors, Farmers, Retirees, Civil Servants and Graduates.
